Faithbridge is an innovative Methodist church, led by Ken Werlein, a pastor with a passion for leadership development and continuous learning.  Standing at the helm of a fast-growing church start, which he planted in 1996, Ken wanted to deepen his staff and core lay-leaders’ ownership of an already clarified vision.  After evaluating consulting ministries, Ken contracted with Auxano to walk his team trough the Vision to Grow process in July of 2005.  After the deeply satisfying process, Ken has continued to utilize Auxano for leadership development consulting and brand development services.  During this window, Faithbridge’s attendance has over doubled to over 2,000 in worship attendance.

At Faithbridge, the strategy has four components: three weekly time commitments held together by the lifestyle of “being a bridge of faith to people every day.” The three time commitments are represented by three venues offered each week: (1) worship services, (2) grow groups, and (3) serve teams. These are the three standing invitations for church involvement and the church’s simple process for making disciples. At Faithbridge, the people call this the strategy of “worship + 2.” The strategy represents how the church accomplishes its mission on the broadest level.

The Faithbridge brand was designed to promote a unique and recognizable identity and a warm and friendly image to the community. The brand also utilizes a rough, torn-edge style that is consistent with the look of the logo. The paper used for printing is a recycled, uncoated, textured paper with a natural color to create a unique and friendly feel. A successful direct mail campaign was developed to promote the identity and communicate to their target audience.
