Rich brings to the Auxano team an in-depth understanding of the momentum that strategic clarity can develop in the local church.  In 2009, Rich became the Senior Pastor of one of the Presbyterian church's great pulpits - St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, CA. Prior to his move to California, Rich served as the Senior Pastor of the 3,000-member First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio. Rich graduated cum laude with a business degree from Trinity University, where he currently serves as a member of the board of trustees.  He also graduated with a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and is finishing doctoral work from Fuller Seminary in Southern California.  Following seminary, Rich served as an Associate Pastor at the First Presbyterian Church Houston and as Senior Pastor of the Central Presbyterian Church of Summit, NJ.  In Summit, he led the 1,200-member congregation through the wake of the September 11th tragedy.  Rich resides in Newport Beach with his wife and two daughters.
