Clarity Services: Vision Planning
A Church in Transition & Ready for Clarity
Meadowbrook Church found itself in a pivotal moment. After years of growth, momentum had slowed. The building no longer fit the needs of the church. Ministries were moving in different directions. And while the team remained faithful and passionate, the church lacked a unifying vision to guide future steps.
Lead Pastor Bryan Marvel knew they needed more than just a plan—they needed clarity.
“I don’t know where our church would be today if we hadn’t partnered with Auxano. We were at a turning point—and clarity helped us move forward with boldness and purpose.”
- Bryan Marvel, Senior Pastor at Meadowbrook Church
Clarifying Vision. Aligning Ministries.
Moving Forward.
Partnering with Auxano, Meadowbrook began the Vision Planning process—a team-based journey to clarify their mission, define disciple-making outcomes, and craft language that aligned every ministry to their unique calling.
What emerged was The 40 by 40 Illumination Plan: a bold, Spirit-driven vision to reach 40 neighborhoods with the light of Christ by the church’s 40th anniversary.
The process didn’t just result in a compelling strategy; it united staff, energized volunteers, and gave the congregation a clear picture of where they were headed and why.
From Concept to Movement
With a clear vision in place, Meadowbrook began mapping short- and long-range priorities to make the vision actionable. The church launched initiatives to serve neighborhoods, build relational bridges, and create disciple-making momentum in every ministry.
“Auxano didn’t come in with a cookie-cutter plan. They helped us understand who we are and where God was leading us. That made all the difference.”
- Bryan Marvel, Senior Pastor at Meadowbrook Church
Today, Meadowbrook is a church marked by unity, clarity, and purposeful growth. Their building is being reimagined, their people are living on mission, and their leadership team is aligned around what matters most.
The Results
- Developed the 40 by 40 Illumination Plan
- Unified staff and ministry leaders around shared language and mission
- Increased disciple-making focus and neighborhood engagement
- Reoriented facilities planning to serve future ministry, not just square footage
